Privacy notice

At TROMP Percussion Eindhoven, we are dedicated to creating opportunities and a stage for talented percussionists. To do so, we create valuable relationships with percussionists at all levels and other professionals in music and arts, educators, policy makers and audiences. We prefer direct and personal contact, but also strongly depend on our website, newsletters and social media to inform and engage with followers from all over the world.

In this privacy notice, we provide information on when and why we collect personal information, how we use it and how we keep it secure.

Website

At tromppercussion.com we currently do not collect any cookies, because we see no need for it at this time. To evaluate our website’s visibility in search engines and the quality of various parts of the website, we use a third party service. Google Analytics collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone.

Club TROMP members

TROMP provides the opportunity to support our activities as a member of Club TROMP. Registration as a member requires your name, address, email address, bank account number and your payment authorisation. We use this information only to process payments and to keep you informed about Club TROMP’s activities as a part of your membership. We use Mollie as a provider for online subscription payments. Both TROMP and Mollie will not share information or your payment details. Please see Mollie’s Privacy Statement for more information.

Links to other websites

This privacy notice does not cover the links within this site linking to other websites. Those sites are not governed by this privacy notice. If you have questions about how a site uses your information, please check the concerning website’s privacy policy.

Mailing lists

As a part of the registration process for our newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information to keep you updated on TROMP’s activities, to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information, to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re still interested and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to for the registration process and to deliver our newsletter. This also allows us to gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us evaluate and improve our communication. You can unsubscribe to our mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by contacting our office.

Ticketing data

When you purchase a ticket (or tickets) for TROMP activities through the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven Ticket Office your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored in their Box Office system Ticketmatic and this data will be shared with the TROMP office. You may, of course, purchase a ticket (or tickets) in person without supplying the aforementioned personal data. Please be assured that both Muziekgebouw Eindhoven and TROMP do not share your personal information or payment details with any other company without your consent. Muziekgebouw Eindhoven can only contact you to inform you about your purchase, unless you select either the Email or Post option under ‘I would like to hear about events, news and offers’ as part of your booking online, at the Ticket Office or over the phone. As a publicly funded organisation, we may share anonymised personal information with funding institutions, particularly art councils, to analyse our audience development programmes, ticket sales and self-generated funding to understand the impact of the public investment made in TROMP Percussion Eindhoven.

Competition applications

In the online competition application TROMP collects personal information to process competition applications, check if the applicants meet the conditions as stated in the Rules & Regulations, contact applicants about their application and inform former applicants of new competition editions when eligible to apply. As a publicly funded organisation, we may share anonymised personal information as statistical information with funding institutions, particularly art councils.

Personal data collected in the online application includes first and last name, address data, contact information, date of birth, a photograph and a resume. Collected data of applications will be stored for 7 years in the local and secured servers of Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. By submitting the application, applicants agree that - except for address data and contact information - TROMP can use their name, date of birth, photograph and resume for any promotional purpose.

As stated in Article 8.1 (d) of the Rules & Regulations, TROMP is authorized to record, videotape, film, broadcast, or photograph any competition concerts or events for any purpose. All rights, including copyright in such media shall vest in and be owned by the competition in perpetuity.

Access to your personal information
