Kazusa Iyonaga

Kazusa Iyonaga started playing percussion at the age of 10. Her first percussion and marimba teacher was Yumi Terada. From 2015 until 2022 she studied with professor Takafumi Fujimoto at Tokyo University of the Arts. Kazusa Iyonaga obtained a master's degree from the Graduate School of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2022. She was selected for a short-term overseas training scholarship from the Segi Arts Foundation in 2019.
Kazusa Iyonaga received numerous awards, including the highest prize at the 80th TIAA All Japan Classical Music Competition and the highest award at the 35th Rookie Concert sponsored by Japan Percussion Instrument Association.
