Brush up on your skills in two full days of workshops and masterclasses by the world's leading percussionists with the Percussion Pass. Registration is open to all percussionists, amateur and professional. We will provide the instruments to play on and both days include a delicious lunch served by TROMP. Marta Klimasara

Marta Klimasara, an acclaimed percussionist, has gained international recognition through tours and successes in prestigious contests, including the ARD contest and World Marimba Competition. She holds scholarships and has been commended for her outstanding musical and artistic personality.

Arnold Marinissen

Arnold Marinissen composes, performs, teaches and gives masterclasses around the world. He is a praised percussionist, and as a composer he wrote for the Residentie Orkest, La Biënnale di Venezia, Asko|Schönberg and Slagwerk Den Haag, among many others.

Niti Ranjan Biswas

Amsterdam-based Niti Ranjan Biswas, a sought-after tabla player, has performed with legendary Indian classical musicians and acclaimed Western ensembles. He teaches at Codarts Rotterdam and the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

Yi-Ping Yang

Yi-Ping Yang is an award-winning percussionist and principal timpanist who regularly performs worldwide and collaborates with Grame. She is an associate professor at the Conservatoire de Lyon, guest professor at the Shanghai Conservatory, and artistic director for Collective RIT-Infinity.

Pape seck vierkant

Pape Seck

Pape Seck is descendant from a family of griots - musical nomads comparable to troubadours. The Senegalese percussionist gained fame in his home country as a member of the famous band Raam Daan. Seck plays a wide range of percussion instruments, including sowruba, sabar, bougarabou, tama, djembe, calabashes, krin, doundoun, sangban, kenkeni and tabala.

Gabriel Michaud

Gabriel Michaud

Gabriel Michaud, winner of the 2022 TROMP International Percussion Competition, also secured prizes at the International Marimba Festival Competition and Swiss Percussion Competition. He received the Marescotti Foundation scholarship and won 1st Prize at the Pollença International Marimba Competition.

Michael Burritt

Michael Burritt, a distinguished percussionist and head of Eastman School of Music's Percussion Department, performs worldwide and teaches extensively. His solo marimba works are standard repertoire, commissioned by major ensembles, and he is President of the Percussive Arts Society.

Marcelo Woloski

Marcelo Woloski is a multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy winning percussionist, producer and composer. His broad array of sounds, versatility, masterful skill, charismatic personality and creativity has made him the to-go person for recording artists, producers and arrangers throughout the globe. 

Momoko Kamiya 2

Momoko Kamiya

Momoko, a professor at Tokyo College of Music, is also a guest professor, lecturer, and award-winning marimbist. She won the International Marimba Competition in 1995, received the Azalea Cultural Prize in 2005, and studied at Juilliard.
